Reactivating your membership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated

is easy and we are here to assist. This page is designed to assist inactive members to return to active membership. We are a legacy of sisterhood and service and welcome you to

Nu Gamma Omega Chapter with open arms.

 

To reactivate with Nu Gamma Omega Chapter complete the Graduate Chapter Reactivation Form (see below) scan and submit the form to akangopresident@gmail.com plus your payment for reactivation/reinstatement fees, chapter dues, fees and assessments, as applicable. (see link below)

 

You will need to pay: reinstatement fees and the Corporate Office Improvement Project (COIP) assessment, if applicable. Corporate assessments include Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) dues, the cost of the current Constitution and Bylaws and Manual of Standard Procedure.

If you’re reactivating with Nu Gamma Omega Chapter, you will also need to pay dues, assessments and complete all financial obligations pursuant to the Bylaws. (see link below)

The Transfer Verification Form (see below) is an official Sorority form which documents that an inactive member has met all financial obligations to her former Chapter and the Boule. If you are currently active with a Chapter or were last year, you need to request a signed Transfer Verification Form from your Chapter President, complete the form, scan and send to akangopresident@gmail.com  along with your payment for chapter dues, fees and assessments, as applicable.
