Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will pause to honor the founding of our beloved sisterhood and pay homage to the vision, courage, tenacity and oneness of purpose of the extraordinary women who dared to create the first organization for college-trained women whose mission is to support and promote sisterhood, scholarship and service.
On this special day in the life of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, members will be intentional in reclaiming lost pearls in our homes, workplaces, colleges, churches and other areas of our lives where we interact with Alpha Kappa Alpha women who have not been active in our sisterhood and assist them in reconnecting through reactivation initiatives and special activities.
