Members Spotlight
Mrs. Eboni Thompson
Girl Scouts Louisiana East (GSLE) hosted the 7th Believe in Girls Event (the B.I.G. Event). After a hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s event took place on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond on April 23rd.
The event encompassed a panel of local female leaders at the top of their fields, including our chapter member, Mrs. Eboni Thompson. She serves as Director of Medical Services, Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge.
The unique experience continued with an exciting and engaging day filled with many opportunities to learn about STEM, life skills, entrepreneurship, and outdoor skills from the many organizations hosting exhibits and presentations.

Chapter member Ms. Linda Piper was a vital player in the community cleanup spearheaded by the Department of Environmental Quality.
